FX Trading Station

So, now that you have finished a basic course in forex trading, and you have already used the demo account. The time has come for you to monitor all currency charts simultaneously through a forex trading station. How do you then set up a multi-monitor trading station?

Step 1: Buy the monitors. The suggestion of experts is to get 2 or more monitors of equal size and brightness. Also, it is not a must to get the biggest kind of monitors, because they would be placed next to each other anyway; they would appear large even if they are actually mid-sized.

Step 2: Buy the graphic cards. You could buy as many cards as your computer could hold, then put up a monitor for every unit. Take note that for excel or charting, you do not need to get a graphic card that is elaborate or fancy.

Step 3: Install the graphic cards. Prior to opening the computer, make sure to check if you are nullifying the warranties. Here is a crucial thing to remember -- for every card you would be installing, shut down the PC, turn it on, and follow the installation steps.

It's important to install each graphic card separately.

Step 4: Set up the monitors. Setting up the monitors is pretty straightforward, especially if your computers have installation wizards. The challenge is to configure the monitors, as the rest would be easy.

An easy way of configuring the monitors is by clicking the "properties" tab then go to "settings." Activate the secondary monitor, then set up the pictures to whatever fashion the 2 (or more) monitors have been set up. Then click on the next monitor, find the "Extend any windows" option for that unit, then click "Apply". This may sound intimidating, but you'll be able to figure everything out.
